Itty Bitty Storybook Spider

I antagonized this little spider for about 45 minutes. Is that considered insect abuse? He was no larger than a pinky fingernail with his legs stretched out. I was definitely disturbing the business he was about. He was a jumping spider. He put up with me for awhile. When he had enough of the flash going off in his eyes he jumped on my camera in a flash! I was brave though and did not throw it. He jumped back into the flowers just as quick. It started to rain and I have not seen him since. I think I hope he is ok. He was kinda cute for a spider. He really had character. To see more pictures of him go to: http://photographybymarcieglass.zenfolio.com/

My Sweet Little John John Loves To Sing

John John and I have been together for six years. He is a rescue dog that I adopted from the SPCA. He is quite a gentleman and is extremely well mannered. He loves everyone and is such a socialite. He will be eleven years old this year. He has a thyroid condition and so the chubbiness. He actually looks and feels like a little sheep with his kinky little curls. I am so grateful that we met that day. It was amazing because I went to the SPCA with the hopes of finding a white poodle. Isn't God so awesome!!

Wildlife Everywhere

I am amazed that the tiny bits of land within town limits are inhabited by so much wildlife. These guys keep me company in the early morning and late evening. I have never actually seen owls in the wild before I moved here. They are interesting birds. They look like a large bullet flying through the air because they don't have a neck like other birds. And their wings hang down much farther than their body. They catch fish and other creatures in the inlet as the tide comes in and out each day. I am so tickled that God put me here and put so much wildlife here for me to shoot. He is awesome! :)

Two's company...

What are you looking at?

Narcissus or is he watching for a fish?

Well here we are! Welcome to my blog spot. This is all new to me but I have decided to face my fears and start writing and sharing my great love - photography. Most of our lives are extremely busy and it is hard to stay in touch with each other. I hope that, for my family and close friends, this will be a place to share what's going on in my world. You can comment under my posts if you would like. Or better yet, create your own blog so I can follow you!
Happy Memorial Day!
